MAP Test Results for December 2024
A small school started using RightStart Math at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. In September, prior to starting RightStart Math, the students took the MAPS test. Then, in December 2024, after just three months of using RightStart Math, they took the test again and had phenomenal student MAP test results!
Two of the most significant math test results were:
STUDENT A: September 2024 – scored 158 December 2024 – scored 171 (an increase of 13 points)
STUDENT B: September 2024 – scored 183 December 2024 – scored 196 (an increase of 13 points)

Test results for Fall of 2021-2022
Kindergarten students averaged 151 on the RIT scale. The national average is 140. The median percentile for the class was 82.
First-grade students averaged 194 on the RIT scale. The national average is 175. The median percentile for the class was 96.
Second-grade students averaged 202.7 on the RIT scale. The national average is 188. The median percentile for the class was 78.

Test results for Spring of 2015
Using the Star Math Assessment, 90% of first-grade students scored at or above the benchmark scaled score of 381, with students scoring between 390 to 600.
Using the Star Math assessment, 91% of second-grade students scored at or above the benchmark scaled score of 490, with students scoring between 550 and 670.

Test results for Spring of 2014
Using the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, the group profile for the first grade on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills showed Math concepts at 82% and Math computation at 81%.
The second-grade group profile on the ITBS was 73% for math concepts and 97% for computation.
The results for the third grade are just as excellent: 82% for math concepts and 75% for computation.
